The Basics:

Overlooking the Colorado River Screen Shot 2017-06-20 at 8.43.04 PMcliffs in Bend, Texas, Barefoot Camp & RV Park is a secluded camping spot. An hour drive from our Texas Custom RV Rentals (TCRR) location, the campground is privately owned on a cattle ranch for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. With 38 pull through sites, each one comes with electrical and water hook-ups.

On-Site Facilities & Attractions:

+ Leaning Bluff Lodge

+ Pavilion for family reunions & large gatherings

+ Spacious restrooms & shower facility

+ Kayaking, fishing, boating, swimming, wildlife viewing

Around the Area:

Colorado Bend State Park — take a hike in Gorman Falls to Spicewood Springs, a spring-fed waterfall, or take a Wild Cave Tour with a guide.

+ Visit a winery such as Fiesta Winery in Lometa, Texas.

+ The Regency Suspension Bridge — a bridge over the Colorado River. It gets it’s name when cars drive over the bridge making you feel the actual “suspension.”

Youngs Burrito & BBQ is a great spot in San Saba. Just make sure to get there in plenty of time, because they close once the food runs out!

+ In the mood for some pizza? San Saba also has La Citta, which out-of-towners swear it’s worth the try.
